i just got a new piccolo and it is starting to tarnish on the head, lip, keys and where i rest my right hand tumb. it is a great piccolo (even tough i need more practice) and it is in great condition and i want to know how to keep it in good condition.

Well, u can polish ur piccolo with metal polish or auto sol. A piccolo will tarnish after something no matter how u take care but don`t worry, if u ever get to performe, audience purchase ticket for ur sound.
