What about these cats on e-bay paying up 7k for a VI tenor Selmer Mark VI. Guy said it was original.
No way! Unbelievable what people will say to get the extra buck. We need some sort of site that people can go to to get assisstance in making major purchases for advice in this sort of thing. I was taken when I was younger, I paid top dollor for a Mark VI tenor. Engraving was so sharp you could feel it. Horn didn`t seem dark enough in color, but slick salesman convinced me this gold mine just came out of the closet. I found out later it was a factory relaq. I learned the hard way. I took it to a dealer in Nashville to trade in for a King Super 20, he drooled so hard I thought his teeth were going to fall out. I told him what I was told, he didn`t want to here it. He later advertised it as a mint original laq. Go figure! By the way, that VI didn`t play worth a darn either.
I figured I could find the right mouthpiece for it and make it sing, but no go. I love VI` don`t get me wrong, I own several at any given time. Check out this hot new site <a href="www.band2day.com">www.band2day.com

Yes, great site. I have browsed it in the past. Do you consult by e-mail and aid people in auctions or other online purchasing. I believe this would be a great service and well worth an investors money.
