Which is better... being interested in people`s opinions or spouting cliched, garden-variety philosophy?

if you ask the question...what is better, jazz or classical? why not check out other things to say except "oh, i think jazz is better". I listen to more jazz. Better is not the right word to use.
plus, I do prefer a kitchen style philosophy to the garden variety.

So, do you prefer gardens or kitchens? (This forum has started to get interesting) When I am hungry I prefer kitchens, but gardens are places of beauty, and I`ve always felt that beauty is the food of the soul.
What instrument do you play? My main instrument is the clarinet.

Bean plants are cool. Good small flowers and then the beans start.
I clarineted for a few years. Ive expanded a bit. I want to learn piano.

I`ve been clarinetting for 10 years, piano-ing for 8 and composing for 9. I also can play the violin, recorder, bagpipes, bugle, swannie whistle, harmonica and saxophone. You should take up the piano if you are thinking of it, it is a really cool instrument with a huge repertoire.

Refer to the post: Which is better: jazz or classical? This is what led to this.
