I really want to learn to play cello, but I just have one question, slightly naive, question I was hoping someone could answer!

Do you need to be able to play another instrument (such as the quitar) in order to be successful at the Cello?

Nope. But of course, having some music background will give u a slight advantage...but it really doesn`t matter. Most of us went in as babies, but come out as pros.
