How about keep your old clarinet for marching and get a new one for band? I suggest a Buffet R13 (don`t march it though!) and a Vandoren M30 mouthpiece (its 10 times better than the B45 - I don`t recommend B45 at all). That mouthpiece has been the best for me and has a very clear tone. You have to be careful with it though because you usually need a harder reed to have that perfect sound.
