I just finished my version of the midi, but am unable to post at the moment...i`m sending pictures to a few who have inquired and they may or may not post it in a midi type file...if you`re willing to do this, then drop me a line....i`ll send you a picture of what i have...otherwise, i`ll just make myself go to my school and pick up finale, and i`ll put it on there myself next week...

I think I may have mentioned something about this song being modal before....mixolydian or something...I was wrong...the seventh scale degree is not flatted! this means no blues scales, no modal scales!! I think if you were to think of a pentatonic and add the major 7 in there, that might be what you should use...discrepancies? additions? corrections? please, let me know what you think....this is only from what I hear, that doesn`t mean its right! hahaha.

Hi guys,

I`ve used Athen`s transcription and have made the bass line a bit more driving, filled out the chords in places and added some articulation. Here the result: www.isle-records.com/images/willandgrace.mid

Want the score?

page 2: www.isle-records.com/images/willandgrace2.jpg

Hopefully it`s playable... !!

No I can only take part of the credit... Athens is the guy who deserves the most praise for working out the chords and transcribing the melody. I`ve just tried to write that out so its fairly playable.

And also, that is only a first draft. Athens and I are still working to create a version that is truer to the original recording!

Cheers,

David

Ok, final version has now been created!

I know this sounds big headed, but I think this is about as close to the original as you can get
