Hey kids...it has been *ahem* 20+ years since I took Theory in High School...while I still play I have forgotten Theory. If I was to get some music for piano or guitar, what key should I have it transposed to in order to play on my Bb clarinet??

Please no wise crack answers.

You should transpose it up one tone.
Thus C= D
Db=Eb
D=E
Eb=F
E= F#/Gb
F= G
F#/Gb= Ab (or G# if it is minor)
G= A
Ab= Bb
A= B
Bb=C
B= Db (or C# if it is minor)
