Hey, guys, i`m not gonna pretend to know everything about the drums, rudiments, flam taps, that i can do paradiddles at 226 bpm`s, or anything. im in the freakin 8th grade-but i am actually decent for my grade level. but anyway, the line is for everyone who wants to join, and if a movie can motivate more people to pickup a drum and start playing, then so be it. yeah, i know that some of the stuff in it was kind of a ripoff, but its still a cool movie. for an underexposed and interested tennessean percussionist, this is a breath of fresh air. everything around here is core military highsteppin marching, so this is great for me and my percussion buddies. so you guys go ahead and diss the movie all you want. but if it can get more people to the craft instead of wanabees like are all over this message board, then i think it is a movie worthwhile. plus, the dancer (lola?) was hot!!!
