Pianist errors!

Find it very frustrating that I make slip ups and mistakes during a piece, espcially with difficult pieces, as I would like to make recordings with no errors for obvious reasons.

Does anyone know how the heck concert pianists etc.. do live performances without any mistakes, since to me it seems almost impossible to complete a piece without at least one mistake.

If there are any proffesionals out there, dont you get nervous that at the end of a 10 minute piece for example after all the good playing before, that you might cock up the ending and it all goes wrong for you.

Or is it that mistakes are made but you dont hear them, interesting...

Practice makes Perfect. If a mistake is made, I guess they to hide it by playing some more additional notes to cover up.

Practice is the only thing and of course self confidence
i am not a pro (only half a year but i`m know grade 4-5 so...).I am a organist fro 3 chuches i had also had that problem of when u play realy well and u get scared of fluffing it and well then u do! it`s all down to slef confidence (and of course practice but that goes with out saying)

Hi,

Not every performance by a pro is note-perfect. there ARE mistakes they can hide it better that`s all.
