I was just wondering what other people were playing for their feild show this year. We are playing Chicago ( The group not the musical). It is both fun and challenging.

Is your highschool marching band a feildshow competition marching band or a parade marching band?
`Cause feildshow competition bands tend to be more serious about the music they play. Like when I was a freshman (two years ago) in a feildshow competiton band, we played Pandora`s Box (eleven minute feildshow). It was fun but freakin long. I transfered schools to a parade marching band and they played stuff like the hey song for their feild shows, and their sets consisted of five or less. Quite disapointing. It killed my marching spirit. Is your band a Parade marching Band?
