What`s the feeling about digital pianos here? I recently bought a technics digital piano, mainly for budget reasons but also because it`s so easy to record. I record with a band and it used to take ages to get a satisfactory mic set up with a real piano.
It`s supposed to be sampled on a Steinway grand - the touch is a bit on the light side, but the sound is good although sometimes lacking in `color`.
Of course I would prefer the real thing any day, but for the money I have to say I`m impressed.
