As you`ve heard from this sound clip, Mozart made Fur Elise. But in real life; (For Elise) Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827). For solo piano. Format: piano solo single. Classical period and romantic period. A Minor.

Hi all,

I was just looking around for sites that had links to our site, and came across this one, and you are all totally right, Fur Elise should be by Beethoven, NOT Mozart! That`s what comes of asking someone with no classical knowledge to catalogue your ringtones!!

Thanks all !

Chris

duh . . . its by beethoven. how could you think it was by mozart. it even sounds like beethovens music, cuz mozart very rarely, if ever, writes in a minor key.

Thank you...    04:49 on Friday, February 7, 2003

Fur Elise is by ME, and it`s featured on my upcoming album "ClassiCool", a melding of classical and smooth jazz, due out Fall 03 at CD Baby and Tower Records. Till then, click over to Tower and check out my current smooth jazz album, "City Lights"!

No, it is by Beethoven. I have played piano for ten years, so I should know since I`m currently playing this piece. I do not know where you are getting your info from, but they are wrong.
