I play piccolo, and it`s pretty fun on the solos and stuff, it`s a bit confusing in the first place but you`ll get used to it.

P.S., it`s pretty loud, so you might as well get earplugs when you get a piccolo.

lol... i waste my day online too! i have this really big assignment... meh. i`ll do it tomorrow.

all i can say is that you get better with practice. (but don`t over do it. the flute gives headaches after long practiciing, think of what the picc can do! lol)

Well, the flute gives you headaches at first of the amount of air, but piccolo only takes like smaller than 1/2 the air of flute, and you get headaches from the noise... lol

Well, remember, that when you`re playing flute music on the piccolo, you are playing one octave higher than the written music, (piccolos play 1 octave higher than flute) so you would use the 3rd octave fingering for flute when youre playing a music written as 2nd octave notes.

Get your mouth tight and firm, and you`ll get it soon. Don`t try to go higher than the high G for now, start on low notes and practice to get higher.
