hi i just bought the emerson`s boston legacy and it is awesome. however i was cleaning the piccolo with a cloth on a rod and the cloth got brown stuff on it. is this normal?? what is it?? and was it bad of me to clean the stuff off? i`m so confused +_+ hmm... it also smelled weird O_O what should i do?

also for those who don`t know, the boston legacy is made of wood.

That is a very nice piccolo. I tried one out a couple of years back. I thought the scale was great comparing it to all the other brands in that price range.

Don`t worry, what you cleaned out was just some of the oil that the wood was treated with before sale at the factory. No harm done.
