i guess guitar is the `cool thing to play`. what a shame...classical music isn`t appreciated as much now with teenagers. anyways back to the question...i don`t think tht you should let people bring you down. practice hard and show them up at an audition. i have found that to work behind the scenes stealthily and such will be better than spending time trying to outplay/prove everyone out there

i was just sayin how cool it was to play guitar.
