No, not at all. It was perfect. I even sent it back to the company to have it checked. Besides, I would have know since I repair flutes myself.
I had to pull the headjoint half way out to even get it into tune. It played really sharp. I thought that maybe it was just me, but others that tried it out had the same problem.
The company sent it back to me and didn`t do anything. They just told me that this was normal.
I still find that really hard to beleive.
