I play on a Pearl flute and love it!! Mine is a 501RBE model (which means that it has open-holes, Split E, and B-foot). This flute looks alot like the lower model of mine, I believe a 501E. But I would not risk getting this one, though, because it looks like it`s seen better days. www.woodwindandbrasswind.com has the same flute for a very good price (I believe about $581.00) and it will also be brand new! I have brought many things from their site including a Oboe, two Flutes, Various cases, and a Buffet Clarinet. They all shipped in great playing condition because they Playcheck them before shipment. So that is what I would do. Good luck in you flute buying and I hope some of my rambling has help! Please email me if you have any questions.
