Who would like to see the moderator, Larry Krantz, get booted off the James Galway Chat group? Would you like to get a new moderator on that group?
Maybe a moderator that will not delete a post that is just saying thank you to another person, because it is not flute related and doesn`t have the word flute in the post?

At least Galway has some integrity. I don`t think the moderator liked it when Galway answered some of my questions honestly, so the solution was to kick me off for asking them. LOL!

At least he could have had the courtesy to explain WHY he kicked me off.

After you left, I posted how disgusted I was with him for kicking you off and he deleated the post.
Go figure...
It is too bad that someone can`t contact Galway to tell him that this guy is running off people. I don`t think that he would appreciate it much.

Yes, Larry Krantz is definitely the moderator of that group. I wouldn`t have posted this if i didn`t know for sure.

I took one look at the James Galway forum and logged out...there is something about that place that gives me the creeps...Plus, I remember talking with you, KC, about the forum and had found out that other people had bad experiences, also...

How do you get to the forum? Id kinda like to check it out so i can see what you all are talking about. Yeah ive had alot of bad moderator experiences, they think they rule the world or something.

Anyone can join, but I think the moderator heavily moderates posts that are really directed towards a single person rather than a subject at hand. It`s just what a moderator does, some are stricter than others.

I`ve found that the James Galway flute chat is really helpful, more so than this forum because there is a lot of inexperienced players and a high level of immaturity. Even if the moderator deletes a lot of posts, it`s still a good place to get advice.

I don`t see how anyone could think that that place is helpful, when half the posts are deleted!
What you have on that group is a lot of snobbery and who thinks who plays better. Now don`t get me wrong, not everyone is like that on the group.
You also have a bunch of Galway worshipers and Larry Krantz followers. If you are not in his group and don`t share their high opinions, then don`t bother joining the group because you will just get your post deleted or get booted off without any explanation as to why.

well sometimes it is good that he deletes some of the posts because then there`s not useless arguments like there is in this forum.

He has also deleted posts of significant, relevant content.

However there is a lot of propaganda attached to flute marketing, and the moderator seeems to feel a need to protect that. Money speaks! ... and often hides truth.
