I am considering buying a Yamaha YPC-32 Piccolo. But the sites I went to only gives the UK Money price. Is anyone good with UK Money? If a piccolo costs £254.46 in the UK, how much would it cost in the US?

I found that piccolo for that price too. Don`t forget the VAT on it though. I think you still have to pay that if you`re not in the UK... if it`s the same one, it`s still only £299 though, which is really good.

CALL fluteworld. Fluteworld offers discounts on Yamaha instruments that they cannot provide on the website.
Importing an instrument is not worth the risk. You may not like the instrument and will not be able to return it as easily.
You should also open yourself up to different brands and try out different piccolos. Every instrument even within the same manufacturer differs somewhat... ESPECIALLY piccolos.
I mail ordered a Yamaha YPC-32 from WWandBW once and it was horrid compared to the one I played in my old school so I returned it and ordered the Gemeinhardt 4SP and found that to be bad as well. I gave up and picked up a used piccolo at a pawn shop.
