For the piccolo, I am having a hard time getting high notes to come out. when i close my lips tight they buzz like im playing the trumpet. Any tips?

If your lips are buzzing then you are tightening your lips way too much. You need to think about a smaller opening between your lips and think faster air. You really need really fast air to get the top notes out on the piccolo. Think about relaxing your muscles around your mouth while you are playing the piccolo instead of tightening too much.
