I just purchased a Geminhart piccolo. It`s all composite body ( I feel I can play better on those) I got it for aorund... $520. Just just want to know, is this a reasonable price this this picc? I know Geminhart is excellent ( I have a Geminhart flute, and I LOVE it, I only play on them) but i just want to know if I was ripped off. Also, is it a good Piccolo brand? I just ordared it, i don`t have it yet so if worst comes to worst I can get my money back I put down for it. But please answer, thanks!

i have a geiminhart flute and piccolo and it was around that price. i`v been playing piccolo longer than the flute and they last forever andit`s the best brand of both so i wouldn`t worry.

Check the headjoint cork immediately you get it to see if it`s loose.

whats up with you people and gemeinhardt?! The tone quality is absolutely attrotious and require less skill to play than most other flutes/piccolos. they suck! get over it! buy an armstrong piccolo and a pearl flute. THEN u will c the power of good brand names.

Excuse me Ted but it`s a matter of opinion. Maybe the reason why so many people have a Gemeinhardt is because it IS a good flute. Armstrong is a good flute, and so is Pearl, I`ll give you that, GREAT flutes. But some people just feel better playing on different brands. Everyones different and maybe your choices just won`t match others peoples.
