I have a question for you all experienced players.
I saw a GEMEINHARDT FLS-3 flute at a music store selling for $800 approx.
The guy at the store told me it is a student model.
I tried searching on the web for information about it, but couldn`t find anything.
Can anyone tell me anything about this flute and tell me if it is worth the money.
I would appreciate your comments.

You should check out the instrument section at www.fluteworld.com. You`ll be able to find information on a pretty large list of flutes sorted by brand. Are you sure it`s a FLS 3? Fluteworld has that flute listed as an open whole, silver plated flute with C footjoint and your choice of inline or offset G. However, it`s listed at $439.00. For less than $100 more you can get the model with the B footjoint. Take your time buying a new flute...don`t rush into anything!

Although... if you are an experienced flutist with the goal of purchasing a professional flute within the next 5 years you may be better served with an inexpensive silver plate flute.
Play the hell out of them and get the best flute for as little money as possible!
