Hi I have a Cabart flute that I bought at a garage sale, and am trying to research it, but am not having any luck. Does anybody know about this make? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

How much did it cost? Is it open-holed?

It was $100. It is silver plated, closed holes, with an inline G and it has french pointed arms. It was made in Paris. I know Cabart makes Oboes, but I`ve never heard of a Cabart flute.

Don`t assume becuase Cabart`s Oboes are respected that their flutes are as well. There are instrument makers known to make rather nice instruments of one kind, but not another.
If it plays well, take it for what it is. You won`t know if it is bad till you compare it to another flute.
Some Examples of brands that are known for their primary instruments and not flutes:
Buffet - Clarinet and Oboe
Leblanc - Clarinet
Selmer - Saxophone
Emerson - Piccolo
