Gb Ab Bb Cb Db Eb F Gb

(Bearing in mind that the Cb is a "B")

Itis a scale with 6 flats, and happens to be the same as a scale with 6 sharps. You may find it easier to think of that when you practise:
F# G# A# B C# D# E# F#
(Bearing in mind that the E# is an F)

Do you need help with the fingering for any of these notes?

Good answer Arak!
If I may add, it is best to use the 1+1 fingering for the A#/Bb on this scale. Because of the b natural in close proximity one doesen`t want to be sliding the thumb around and because if going into the higher octave, the F#/Gb won`t work well with the T Bb.

Bilbo,
I have always used the thumb for B flat, so now you have me curious about how I play that scale! Unfortunately, my flute is not with me at the moment, so I can`t try it both ways. Thanks for the food for thought.

I`m a strange one I guess, I love scales. I like to mess around with rhythms, dynamics, etc. My daughter does a mean jazz riff on a scale!

I use both. The thumb b is good for fast runs, but for the slower ones, I just assume use the other fingering. I don`t necessarily think that one is correct and the other is wrong, regardless what some people may say.

Do what comes natural for you. If you can hear a big pitch difference between the two fingerings, then more power to you. I think it is just too slight to really notice.
