Does your band have a website on the net? If so, please comment back with the URL. I`d love to see how other bands are organized. Our bands website is http://www.aghsband.com

Thanx

Nice site.
The person that set it up did a really nice job.

Sorry, it has been a long time since I have been in school, so I don`t have a site to show you.

Sarah, I think a big improvement on the site would be to get some clearer pictures. They seem out of focus a bit. Maybe it is just my computer?

...and also, you might think about putting a different mp3 song on the home page. The one on there sounds kind of corny. No offense.

Currently playing with the Hollywood Wind Ensemble, a small portion of which make up the freedom band which marches with LA/Long Beach pride parades... which is what they try to promote though members are of mixed preference.

My school doesn`t care enough about band to make a site devoted specifically to band. In fact, it`s not devoted specifically to anything. Our school`s site sucks. The big band that I`m in doesn`t even have a good website. Sorry to disappoint.

Your welcome Sarah. I am really glad that you didn`t take offense of what I said about the music.

It is nice of you to have such school spirit to be able to work the site like that. Good job!

If you have freewebs, there is a Midi that is in the bank. It`s called "The Thunderer"- John Philip Sousa. There is another one by him, but I can`t remember. Just go to the Midi Bank - Other - then i THINK you pick the letters next..just click J or something. - Then scroll through and search for John Philip Sousa.

I also have 136 Midi`s. All of them are Sousa marches If you would like one, just ask me the name and I`ll be glad to send them to you.

Oh, I missed Karas reply on our band site. Thanks Kara, the site was put together by a student of the Albert Gallatin Colonial Band. He did it all from HTML. If you don`t know what HTML is, it is Hyper Text Mark up Language. In other words, another language for Internet. Moving on...He is a senior and I am hoping to be able to take over the site. But, I am not that good with HTML as well as he is. We might get some Field Show pictures up soon. I`m not sure.

Anyways, have a nice day all...

Hey Dustin, if u really hope to take over my site when i graduate, i could start teaching u now if u are that interested. You could keep my layout and stuff, i could just teach you how to do the updating. I might still do the site though as an internship for college but i can still train ya. Just email if you are interested.

Snot replies:
You or another band member should make one yourself. It`s not that hard to do something presentable, and you could use free hosting.
