I`m searching for a piccolo and I saw these two brand names, Symphony and Malotees. Has anyone ever heard of them? Are they at all good?

As Patrick would say.... PLUMING!! Lol! I wish that those scammers on ebay would stop selling all those garbage brands instruments. They are a repair persons nightmare!

It will never stop. It will probably increase - a lot.

There seem to be several new names of woodwind appearing every month.

Uh, ignore both of those brands. I had the unfortunate experience of trying a Symphony piccolo and it was...interesting...
If you can, I know that there are a lot of good piccolos on ebay (I was on ebay last night, scouting...)
Once in a while, you can get piccolos like that to work for you, but I would not suggest trying it unless you have a lot of time on your hands!

thanks a lot. I`m think Malotees is from Australia or something cuz that`s where it would be shipped from. And I`m not quite sure what you guys mean when you say plumbing. Is that they way the inside of the flute is shaped?

It`s a joke. It`s like saying the flute is better suited as a wall decoration than playing.
