Hello all. any suggestions on high Eb??? Or the high D? It comes out fine for me on piccolo, but on flute it is a problem. The highest a-b arent a problem for me at all, thats why i was wondering what was going on if those high (VERY HIGH) notes were so much easier

(Question)

Do you mean 3rd octave D & Eb, or fourth octave?
In third octave, these are normally vey easy notes.
Assuming you mean third, and that you have the correct fingerings, perhaps there is a leak, or looseness in the mounting, of your crown cork, or it is out of position.

make sure that your embouchere is relaxed, and that you aren`t closing your throat.
Try singing and playing at the same time and sustain D then Eb and go up chromatically. It will help make sure that your throat is relaxed, and will force you to push from your stomach to maintain a constant airstream. hope that helps

Answer: One can surmise that if the original poat refers to the higher notes a and b as being easier tnen they are referring to the Eb and D just a 4th and 5th scale degree above the treble staff and not the extreme high ones. "The highest a-b arent a problem for me at all, that`s why I am wondering what is going on if those high (VERY HIGH) notes are so much easier to play." -Grammar makes commumication understandable folks. :/
I would suggest to JABD to try the lower range. If they are a problem sounding then have repairs made.

play a top d and put the c to d trill key on ORRR put ur b flat key on and the end f sharp key and the c to d trill key so:
bflat key -----------1st trill key -------- end f sharp key . (you need a lot of air and support tough)
