That is so weird. The only time I`ve seen a flute react with make-up is when the flute was "nickel".

I`ve never had a single instance of it happening with my flute (silver).

Dotted Quarter Note that is funny, I used to play in a flute choir with this one girl who said the exact story. Same thing with the stamp thing to put on your lip plate. Hmmm...small world.

the problem you are experiencing is either from an allergic reaction or you may have acid lips. I suggest geting a headjoint that is solid silver or one with a gold lip plate.

I think it is very neat Kara that someone else knows about that idea. Although it was not a stamp, but a type of postage tape. Stamps are worth money! I would never put a stamp on my flute!

And Ed, I don`t know if guys ever have this problem or not, but I know I do not have this problem at all unless I am wearing makeup. Put on some make up and try it out Ed :P~~
