I wish to buy some more albums and sheetmusic for performance pieces.
I find different places stock different ranges, and USA is a lot cheaper than UK.
Can anybody suggest what they have found the most comprehensive USA site for flute music, with good info, and reasonable prices?

Thanks. Yes a good site, well set out.
I have just ordered from www.flutespot.com
I just checked a few prices, some of which were cheaper there.
What I liked there is rather more full infromation about the music, for example for albums, each piece listed WITH composer.

Why do you need to shop in the US? Don`t you foreigners have music where you are from, or are you too poor? THE USA RULES!!!!

In a small country where there is a smaller market for ANY product, especially in a specialised area such as flute music, stock tends to sit around a long time on a dealer`s shelves, which costs money. Costs are also much higher for a dealer ordering in small quantities. That is why music here typically costs 2-5 times as much as in USA. Also, the range available is much smaller.
Similarly certain products are far cheaper to produce here than in USA, so the USA government charges our exporters a tax to punish them for upsetting the less cost-effective producers in USA. BTW the same `protectionism` does not happen in reverse.
Yes, in some ways USA `rules`. In other ways, other countries `rule`. There is more technology than you may think, for which USA relies on other countries` expertise. The world is an increasingly `small` place, with a lot of international interdependence. It is naive for ANY country to be too smug about themselves. It is a recipe for a lot of international friction.
