Hi, I had a flute that I have been playing for about 7 years. It was a Gemeinhardt 2NP, but it got left in a closet for about a year and as a result was destroyed by mold. So I decided it was time to buy a new/used flute. I am unsure of what brand to go with though. I have been researching, but still don`t know. I liked the Gemeinhardt flute, but I did have trouble getting good tone quality from it. Some people have told me to go Yamaha, but I am still unsure. Any suggestions/advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Laura, first decide on your budget, then try (in my opinion) Yamaha, Jupiter, Pearl or whatever else is at your dealer.
