ok i am very into playing my flute but the problem is.. i cant find the right music, i really like pop music for playing and all the music i do find is for guitars.. help!

Music written specifically for flute is generally in the area of clasical (band or orchestra), jazz, movie music (like background music or from musicals.)
Pop music for guitar, voice or piano can be played if you read the melody line but you may have to take it up an octave (8va).
You will also find that pop music on flute is generally not taught because the flute isn`t used as much in that type of music and if you can play the classical flute literature, you can easily play the pop stuff.

I for one would enjoy hearing the flute used in current pop music more but it isn`t used very much. I think that it could blend with the soul type singing style of many of the pop singers fairly nicely.
