Does anyone know a good jazz oriented flute method? I looking to buy one, but haven`t had any luck.

There are many different ones on fluteworld.com

Go to sheetmusic, and then do a search for `jazz`

If you are new to the flute, then you should start with a basic beginner`s method book, and then later on start with jazz. You`ll need the basics of flute first, and most jazz method`s i`ve seen expect you to have mastered the basics of tone production and fingerings and such first.

Ultimate Jazz Riffs is a good book. I do beleive that they sell it at Flute World also.

Alberto, check out some publications by Bill Holcombe, musicians publications in new jersey, they have a play along CD and good charts of blues scales, I`m a classical player and have used these charts when I needed to play jazz for concerts
