It`s not quite cold, not warm, not sunny it`s well........... typical of Ireland. Today is the shortest day of the year and guess what? It`s dark outside hee hee heee its twenty five to eight at nifht and it has been dark since four o`clock today. It was soo weird, I mean it was dark when I was coming home from school. So all I can say to this sort of weather is POO[B/].:O

anon, it is beautiful here in Idaho. One thing I always remembered of the short 4 years that I lived in this state is that the skies are alway crystal blue and so are the lakes and water. It is just gorgeous!

Here it is, six o`clock in the evening, I`m sitting here with the window open. I was outside all day, the sun was shining, there was a light breeze, bright blue sky, with only a hint of a few wispy clouds.

It was 77 degrees (about 25 celsius)! I even had to put the AC on as I drove down the freeway (well I didn`t have to, but I didn`t want to mess up my hair).

A couple of hours away there is skiing and plenty of winter fun in the mountains. Then we drive back down, and don`t even have to shovel or scrape!

Pretty comfy! I used to think I would miss a white Christmas.....I was wrong. I love sitting outside with the family, watching the annual Christmas swim (the water is pretty chilly).

We have the Polar Bear swim coming up here soon. See, some folks actually think it`s a super-fun tradition to strip down to their under-drawers and jump into Lake Michigan on New Years Day. Of course, they have to break up the ice that forms between the shore and the breakers first or they`d be skating instead of swimming. But I suppose it`s one way of curing that New Year`s hangover

My feet were so cold last night when I was trying to sleep that I had to run them under hot water. I finally took Olivia to bed with me to get warm.

"in uk weather is like it always is grey, wet, dark, cold it`s more like autumn than winter"

OOh I like autum wheather! And I like rainy foggy days, however it is nice to have variety of seasons. But when winter comes the rainy misty days are long way to getting them back. Love thunderstorms too! I thought I`d love it in Seattle washington but as I said need variety. I really would love to visit UK at some point. Be very fun. But I can see constanty rainy days get gloomy.
