A local dealer has a new Armstrong 305B LTD flute for sale. Armstrong`s procuct prochure lists a 305B, but no 305B LTD. Neither the salesperson nor the person I call at Armstrong knew what the differences are between a 305B and 505B LTD. Does anyone here have any experience with the 305B Limited model? I`m thinking of purchasing it to learn to play on (haven`t played a flute in more than 25 years) as I want a GOOD intermediate flute.

You may want an inexpensive student flute from a major manufacturer to learn on THEN step up to a good intermediate flute when you can tell them apart.
