I figured I`d start this because otherwise there will be a bunch of "I got a new flute!!!" threads. Basically if you got a flute or piccolo for Christmas, Hanukkah, etc. tell us here! 
Anyway, I got a brand new gemeinhardt 4psh piccolo. (plastic body, solid silver head)

Wishful thinking.
I did get a neat little GPS thingy so that if I ever detour on my usual route home from practice I`m not as apt to get lost... as usual. lol.
I hate the 101 FWY

Congradulations,
i got a new flute for x-mas, some japanese brand, but it has a good sound and i can play high notes easier. I`m very happy, it`s my first flute, since i rented one from school this year.

Ye I got a new piccolo. My last one was some cheap japanese brand but it worked well and sounded like it should.It was only two months old but my parents realised that I was as serious about the piccolo as I am about the flute and so got me a Jutpier 303 black resin body with silver haedjoint. I`m soooo happy cause I thought the other one sounded grand but when I play the new one I know its just hunk of junk.

I bought my 9-yr-old nephew a new Fender Strat guitar and amp for Christmas. He`s been taking lessons for two years now and has become quite good at the acoustic guitar, but now has rock star visions, heh heh. I didn`t actually receive anything musical myself. Not too worried though. I`m splurging next month on an alto!

I just received money to get anything musical I wanted for Christmas.
I did buy a good friend of mine a tenor sax. The sax was her heart and soul before her husband (now ex) pawned it 15 years ago. She was left really poor and couldn`t afford to get another one. Needless to say she was thrilled and couldn`t stop crying. It was one of the best Christmas times ever!
