Ok sorry to ask but I have looked at all the flute/piccolo topics that I could find but none mentioned the case I`m wondering about. You see when I got my Jupiter piccolo it only came in a hard case with no handles(and I`m pretty clumsey). So when I was out today I decided to have a look for a flute and piccolo combie case but in the shop they only had one type. There was nothing wrong with it(in fact I loved the hot pink colour) but it was just one of those brands that I have never heard of its a Gator case. Just wondering if it would be worth my while to get one imported or just go with the lesser known. So if anyone has ever used one or heard of them please post or with any other advice thanks

Your flute it much better off in the wood case that it came in. It sounds like it is a French case? Those cases act like a vice on your flute and only grab it where there are no keys, so no lid is shut on top of the keys. I have seen more damage done to flutes because of improper fitted cases where the case closes on the keys.

Your best bet it to put it in a soft protective case cover that has a handle or a shoulder strap. Here are some really nice ones that I recommend.

While the Protec cases may look nice, they do close on the keys of your flute.

Oh, I am sorry. I misread your post. I was thinking you were looking for something for just your flute. In that case, there are some really nice ones at wwwbw.com.
