I am a bit confused when trying to read or post on the Galway forum. Does anyone here post there that could help me out? I posted a few times, but not sure if I did in the right place or not. Is it only me, or is that site really hard to figure out? It is like a dang road map! I would be so grateful for any help. Thanks!

I`ve always disliked the Yahoo Groups setup. The only way I can use it is to get individual e-mails and then set-up a filter to move those e-mails as soon as they get in into their own folder.

Kara,
It seems as if you are doing fine there. It can be confusing but I just keep my arrangement settings on

View: Simple
As: Msg List

Otherwise messages seem to disappear when threaded.

It also takes some time for the messages to appear. So, you don`t seem them quite right away.

Thanks Bilbo, I will try that.
Larry sent me a message saying that I had to repost something because I put a quoted sentence before making my post. You can`t you quotation on there?

Don`t know about that. I use "quotations" all the time on that forum. My last post had on. I think.

I think one of Krantz`s last posts was about not using complete quotes from previous posts in a thread. Some posts are long winded and I think that the site is limited in space.

Yeah, Larry doesn`t like long tails. It adversely effects the "digest" e-mails, bulk-wise.

You can quote sparingly and if you quote too much... you`ll get a gentle reminder.

Are you guys talking about the Yahoo board? Because I thought his old flute chat (superflute.com) was disabled once the Yahoo group opened?

Yeah, the Yahoo board can be set up for individual e-mails or bulk e-mails so that it functions like Larry Krantz` Flute List.
