Thanks, but I never want to mislead in anyone in my auctions, so if I don`t beleive it is true, then I won`t write it. The fact is the flute plays the same with or without my special made gemstone crown. It is just for pure vanity reasons only. But yeah...some people really buy into that stuff, I am just not one of them

I think it is nice but would be better in silver. Then it would match most flutes better. I think it`d be nice to have a pretty gemstone crown on my flute but I wouldn`t want one that was gold and would maybe look a bit odd on an otherwise silver flute.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I do them in gold because when I make the whole in the top of the crown, after the hard edges are buffed out, it needs to be re plated and silver does not plate as well. But, maybe I will give it a try.

Maybe it is just me, but from the picture it looks like you can see the adhesive for the gem stone. I think it is a neat idea, so good luck with it.

that`s really beautiful, that would be so nice on my cheapo flute.. i think you should make them in silver! i dunno if I like that stone being on the middle, it would be nice around the outside, but thats just my opinion, one other thing... ship to canada! lol

I only had one emerald and it was too small, sorry. I just finished a silver one with a Rhodolite stone in it that I will post a picture of in a little while. I don`t think that I am going to make anymore and if I do, it will only be for private friends. It is really hard to do just perfect and time consuming.
