Hi there. Please could someone help me with this question: would a 20-ish year old, solid silver Gemeinhardt M3 be marked "silver" on all three joints? Is it possible that it would be unmarked, for some reason?
TIA.

It would have an S after the M3 if is was solid silver. (M3S)
As far as I know, Gemeinhardt marked all three pieces solid silver back then too. You can tell by looking at the tenons if you want to make sure. They will be nickel in color if it is silver plated.
