I would love to meet Hitler and understand a different side of charisma that makes this person a great leader.

Robin Williams is a great choice, Micron. That man has so much energy! It must be exhausting to just be near him for more than a few minutes! All his movies are pretty good; it's scary, though, when he takes a darker role than usual for a movie. A man that funny shouldn't be so serious, it's frightening!

He is a good and very talented actor, but I don't care for his crude foul mouth in comedy at all.

How did we end up talking about this in a FLUTE forum again? Lol!

Aquinas, Augustine, Bernard of Clairvaux, Thomas A Kempis,

I have more quite a list that would make for a fascinating meeting...

(would throw in Aristotle and Kurt Godel too.)

I don't know, Kara! The top topics (hey, that could be a tounge twister) seem to be nothing flute related. Well, even though it maybe isn't a good thing to get so off topic all the time, it maybe isn't a bad thing... I don't know, it depends on the way you look at it... Musicians, such as flute players like ourselves) can relate to one another and, if there is a place where we can all talk and not feel threatened, that is maybe a good thing...
But I do agree... the off-topic-ness of it all (I know there is a better word for this than off-topic-ness, but I can't think straight right now) is a bit disturbing and should be nipped in the bud before this becomes a general forum... I don't know. I can't resist replying to topics, flute related or not, because I like to hear other opinions on things.

I have been thinking about this for a few days, and I am still having a hard time coming up with answers.

Robin Williams is a great one. I adore him.

Einstein would have been awesome to meet because of how eccentric he was, yet he was a genius.

I would have LOVED to meet Queen Elizabeth or Anne Boelyn.

No I haven't.

I've only just recently been introduced to Godel (by accident) and have a few recommendations on books. I'll look that one up too...

And THANKS!

For everyone who has picked amazingly talented, gifted and righteous people:

If you DID get to meet them, what on earth would you say? Cos I know that everytime I've met someone I admire i've gone "snhjwhvdfud".
