alrighty so i want to get my tongue pierced really bad next month..
but the problem is i play the flute and im going to college in august as a music performance major ... i got aa scholarship for that and dont wanna lose it so i was wonderin if this piercin will cause problemsss?? like waht about double tonguing n stuff

If you are going to college as a performance MAJOR, don't do it!!!!!!! The risk you run is so much higher if you peirce your tounge as a flutist for what you have to lose! Don't do it, I think. These things pass: I wanted to get red bangs and different peircings, too, and I eventually came to see that, if I did, I wouldn't be where I am now! Not like red bangs would be life changing, but a tounge peircing could potentially (sp?) ruin your future career!
Check the other thread on peircing; I posted a story there that you might like to read about what a tounge peircing can do! And that girl was going to go on to become a professional player, too! (She didn't think about that before she pulled her little stunt...)
