yeah we got a division one rating at districts last saturday. we were sooo happy, but also most of were so tired out at our homecoming dance that nite

we`re doing a rock show--CAll me, american woman with a drum and colorgaurd feature (band just stands) and turn, turn, turn. hoping to go to the metrodome, football team`s doin` really good this year.

yea, the snare music for Minimally Speaking is crazy...

I originally tried out for the snare drum this year (my first year marching) and when i went into try-outs, i had the whole song memorized. nobody else who tried out did...but i got beat on dynamics and put as 1st bass drum...i got both parts memorized, its crazy...and we`ve beed doing acceptionally well this year too

im from oskaloosa senior high. our show for 03 was "batman" the movie......yes as corny as it sounds it was actualy really good. so good in fact that we beat valley high school for the first time...ever....(4-a band btw)

yeah... the snare music for minimally speaking is crazy..... the snares start out the whole show with their solo.......... yeah.. and then it gets pretty wicked and the show keeps getting better and better by adding bass drum solos and quint solos......

lol for stand music we`re doing Pretty fly for a white guy thats the new one ofr this year as well as all our taditional ones includeing jungle boogie, hey baby, the slamin jammin cheer pack, you dropped a bomb on me, and some others i just cant think of them right now

We`re doing a Styx show. The songs that we are doing is " Rockin` the Paradise", "Lady", "Too Much Time on My Hands", and "Come Sail Away".

Our last 2003 marching show was DA BOMB!

we played (we as in flutes)3 measures (wow!) of "thriller" by michael jackson and then "don`t stop till you get enough" by MJ. We formed a block and then the people from the 50 yd line started a curtain which continued throughout the band. then our AWESOME male cheerleader did his flips down the 50 yd line and we closed back up. and made a bigger block. THEN...we did the "thriller" video dance routine (you know, zombies and MJ) (when we danced, there was a drum break) and then we continued on with the tune!

Cool!... Our Dance team did a dance to "Thriller". Our homecoming was on Halloween.

we did moonlight serenade/sentimental journey, boogie woogie bugle boy, sing sing sing (which is really cool!), Taps, and then god bless america. our show is called 1945, we`re not that good tho, but our band is 70% new people that came from middle school

Our season is over but i can`t wait till next year! the stupid football players just barely didn`t make it to the rca dome but oh well. we had a nascar themed show and it was pretty awesome! we played overture to the magic FLUTE (oh yeah!), caution, can-can(that was fun), i forget the other song, some slow sappy song that was a tribute to a racecar driver who died, and william tell overture (that was also fun!) i CAN`T wait till next year! but i really wish our school let us march picc.

I dunno, what do you guyz mean theme? You mean for field show? Cuz I`m from Buena PArk High School Marching Coyotes in Southern Cali... and we had Disco Mania... "Once You Get Started", "Bustin` Loose", and "steppin Out". And for our March, we did "Americans We". And then I remember last year, I dunno what the theme was but we did Mangione Opener along with Rockin Robin. So yea... anyone have any ideas for next year`s field show?
