My F Key (index finger, right hand) is too tight- I have to really bear down on it to get it to close properly. Any suggestions on how I can adjust my flute so that it's got the proper tightness?

Probably best just to take it to a repair tech. Playing around with the mechanism of a flute without a clear idea of what you're doing can actually cause more problems. Likely some simple adjustments are in order that should require relatively little time or money.
