I love that piece.
Here I go again with one of my favorites:
Cantabile et Presto- Enesco
I seem to remember SEVERAL piano players running in fear at that accompaniment to that one. I ended up having to use a tape.

I absolutely love Martin's Ballade and I'll second the suggestion in getting that even if you have to purchase it as a piece alone.
Muczynski's Sonatas are very modern and fun to play.
If you don't already have it there is a nice little volume called "Flute Music of the Baroque" (Schirmer) which has a nice collection of baroque pieces.
If you're up for a challege there is also a volume entitled "Flute Music by French Composers" which has some great works, though perhaps not the best editions. It contains Enesco's Cantabile et Presto and Andante Pastoral et Scherzhettino mentioned above and many many other pieces (like the infamous Chaminade Concertino <gag> .
<Added>Another Baroque collection, that I like better than my previous suggestion, is "The Baroque and Classical Flute" (Hal Leanard)
