am doing louis drouet study in a flat major (from his 25 famous studies) I can play it fine except for bar two, last 6 notes of that bar. I can't slur down fast enough without splitting .......... any tips ???

Basically you must study the difficult passage very slow, in a velocity you manage to play it without making mistakes. You'll then increase speed until you are used to the passage.
But remember, do not speed up until it's clean.
Sometimes it's a matter of days trainning before you can do it right...
