Nah.. he only took a sip, I wouldn't let him drink it. He was pretty high the other night on cat nip though.

I like the tempo that you took it at much better. Maybe because I could actually play it at that tempo.

HHAHHAAHA!! That makes two of us...I might have been able to play 80% of it about2 clicks faster...but then the last 2 measures of that freaking run would be all messed up...trust me.

Hey Dennis, Welcome back! I hope you're here to stay and not just visiting! Anyway, have you posted your rendition of the Burton anywhere I could here it? I've given the piece a cursory glance (enough to know I like it), and would love to hear you performing it!

Chris,

Hey! I am here to stay unless things go sour again. As far as the Burton...LOL...I only recorded the 3rd movement from Rehearsal Mark 26-28. I also played it at about 3/4 to 2/3 the true speed. It was only after a day's practice. I'm not whipped on the first two movements, but I like the third movement except the speed! I'll post that little ditty on my music site I guess, but not for long cause I don't want people thinking that's how I REALLY sound..LOL. So, check the site at around 8:00am EST, and it should be there. Please don't laugh, though. Check out the Nutcracker while you're there. I did two prelim recordings of the overture and the arabian dance (coffee). I am going to rerecod those and do the rest of the major dances and the waltz of the flowers soon for a CD I want to make. I am thinking about putting Swan Lake on there too. They are all going to be for some type of woodwind choir (only flutes and clarinets of varying amounts). Enjoy!

Thanks! I have absolutely NO clue when I will finish it. I am going to sell it at the college, and who knows...maybe other places. I am sure it won't be the most popular thing ever, but it will be a milestone for me. I can't wait to do the photo shoot!

Kara-
Actually, that is my grandson (I'm TOO young to be a grandma!). He arrived via my "way-too-young-to-have-a-child" son. But, he is now the center of our life!

It's nice to have the cutest baby in the whole world as a grandson.
