There`s a flute solo piece by Eugene Bozza called Image for solo flute that is challenging and it is a little more contemporary, but you can totally interpret it jazz wise.
As well, there is Night Soliloquy by Kent Kennan which sounds excellent if you have a pianist who is in sync with you.

Jazzed up too for flute is quite good as well

I heard Alexa Still play a piece called "Fish are Jumping" It was great! It`s by R-somethingorother (I think Robert) Dick.
