Thank you all again, for your empathizing so kindly with my little problem. I have received so much information that I will need some time to be able to try and understand everything.
One amazing thing with Flute is, that every small step forward (i.e buying and using a tuner) opens so many doors and roads that keeps its learning a continuous thrill.
When I play duets with my teacher (I do that as often as I can and as she consents), there is usually no intonation problem, I think it is mainly because she is a pro and has no problem to dynamically adjust her tuning to my pitch. I also try to do the same, as there are times when she will not "move" and so force me to correct my intonation.
I love those Telemann duets, but right now I am working on Haendel sonatas and this, added to the normal class exercises make too much to practise for the time I have available.
One of her (teacher) students, that is slightly above my present skill level, did played one of the Telemann duets at end of year school concert. It was wonderful.
But I consider them to be a little too difficult now, may be by end of this school year I will give them a try.
