Your compassion for everyone you meet here, and your willingness to learn at any age are one of the things I find most endearing about you.

Yes, I make all efforts in trying to develop my own tolerance, I need it to deal with some problems in my personal life. In particular, I always try to put myself in the "other's shoes" in order to better understand why something has been said or done. When confronted with different cultures, this is obviously more difficult and challenging, therefore I find it enriching.

But this is strictly my personal approach and it is not my intention to convince others that they should do the same.

I apologize if my wording of this idea was not correct and could have hurt somebody. My intention was exactly the contrary. I always fear, when posting about something that is not strictly technical, that this could happen.

IMO Forums are not only a virtual space to share and discuss technical and specific issues, but also an opportunity (at least now and then) to reflect about a few other things that are part of life. Of course this is something we all must take care to use in a wise and limited way, so as not to take the threads too far off.

Thanks also for the nice phrases and concepts I have received; I appreciate - and need- this kind of feedback.
