I am sure this thread has been posted before, but I couldn't find it. If the moderator does not mind, I think that it would be nice to get some suggestions for fellow posters on how they think we could improve this already great site.

These have been mentioned, but this is what I would be interested in seeing.

1. A spell checker. (Lord knows I need one!)
2. A sticky post on topics that come up over and over again. ie: free sheet music, what kind of flute is good etc..
3. On Sax on the Net there is such a thing where you can click and ignore button on any one poster and there posts come up invisible. I think this is a great idea to avoid any type of internet fighting. Just my two cents...

Also it would be nice having the messages ordered from the newest to the oldest.
It take some time to click over the last page and then go to the end of the list...

I agree on this one. Or to have the choice to order them either way. However, I supposed that's a hard call--if you come to a thread that already has a dozen posts, it's, of course, easier to start reading at the beginning of the page and work your way down, rather than read backwards from the end.

I had posted in the past, asking Administrator for a spell checker.

But recently I have installed a auto spell checker that is available as an extension of Firefox, for free of course.

It has the big advantage over a local site spell checker, that it works always, no matter what forum, formular or whatever you are writing on. (provided you are writing from your browser).

It has completely solved my problem. There are also versions for different languages and a language auto switcher (this one seems to be based on Locals and not ever effective).

For MS Explorer users, there are also similar applications (one was recently suggested in this Forum, I think we talked about that one with Kara). But I know she is using now Firefox, so I do recommend her and everybody using it, to install the Firefox extension. It is almost perfect and still more, it is for US English (not UK English).

As for the possibility of reversing the order of posts, If Admin takes this suggestion into account, please do it preserving the possibility of standard viewing (from older to more recent).

True is that once you know the thread, it is annoying having to look for the last page each time and then navigate to the last post.

But when I read a long post for the first time, it is better (IMHO) to see from the beginning what the original question was and then see how it evolved (sometimes in very creative ways, we all know).

What I need now is a Grammar checker... and a Thesaurus for English... and...

Nice wish list, unfortunately too hard to implement, I guess.
